Un clown qui attend.

Il espère et, alors qu’il tente de combler le vide, il se rend compte que la perte fera toujours partie de lui. En cherchant à surmonter son chagrin, il accepte son destin.

Le clown symbolise l’humour utilisé pour atténuer la lourdeur de la vie. Un voyage extraordinaire dans la beauté de la guérison et de la transformation, qui offre à son tour une expérience chaleureuse et réconfortante.

There’s a door.

There’s hope.

The man waits. And waits. Together we wait.

He does his best to play away the emptiness, but it becomes more and more clear how this is all going to end…

Kintsugi is a play for all ages. It’s a story of absence, mourning and solace. A journey from hope to despair to sadness to anger to the realisation that losing someone never leaves you,

and that that’s okay.

Grief: a subject that connects us all. Luckily the clownesque play in Kintsugi fills us with lightness and laughter in the face of that despair.
